CMU Installation
Jandris Architectural masonry units should be installed consistent with the best masonry practices. Always handle units with care using extra caution not to chip corners and edges. Install units in the wall true, plumb and level, taking care not to smear mortar on faces. Clean as you go.
Leave extruded wet mortar joints set until semi-dry to the touch, then tool joints as specified. Let set, brush dry being careful not to smear mortar. Be sure to cover the top of all walls every night as to prevent moisture from getting inside the wall.

Cleaning
UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHOULD acid, highly concentrated masonry cleaners, steam or high-pressure water be used. Mild detergents with a low-pressure water hose may be employed to remove excessive mortar stains, dirt and dust. Units can be cleaned using a variety of architectural concrete masonry cleaners and adhering to the recommendations of the chemical manufacturer, including thorough pre-soak and rinse down. Always test chosen cleaning procedure on the sample panel or on an inconspicuous test area for proper approval. Proper installation and cleaning will results in beautiful architectural facades will last for decades.
